1. 60th anniversary parade at Daegu university
  This year our university is celebrating its 60th anniversary. A parade was held on May 3rd as part of the celebration. Many students, including international student, participated in the parade from the main gate th Seungsan Hall.
  People watching the parade were able to have a good time and see interesting sights such as students wearing the traditional costumes.

2. Our School Bicycle Day
  Every April 22nd is Bicycle Day. However, since April 22nd coincided with the university's midterm examination period, Bicylcle Day on Daegu University's campus took place on April 28th.
  Over 200 students accompanied the DU president on a bike tour around campus. One participating student said, "With the sunny weather, I really felt how beautiful our campus is."
  The president said he wants students to get a lot of attention with for biking for the environment and their health.
  Meanwhile, last January, Daegu University was named a Good cycling organization by the Ministry of Environment. And the university was recognized the use of bicycles and We was made the bike app for safety, convenient to use.

3. Love, Light, Freedom Corps Ceremony
  The school’s Love, Light, Freedom Corps Ceremony was held on May 25th. Scholarships were awarded to students who embodied the founding spirit of the university. Also, volunteers and students took an oath to uphold the founding ideals.

4. School news: Family Month of May
  May was Family Month and a lot of warm events took place within our university. Early childhood special education students held a 'peek-a-boo Festival' on May 5th. They had a great time with the kindergarten students who attend Dong Kwang kindergarten. This Festival was held with special kindergarten students. Although the weather was windy, they never lost the smiles on their faces.
  Teachers' Day also took place in May. Students all over gave carnations and letters of appreciation to their professors.
  The 60th anniversary of our school has brought many beautiful and heartwarming sights. We will look forward to more celebrations in the second half of the year.
