“Those who do not travel are the same as those who read only one page of a book” said the philosopher Augustine. One page of a book, that means they do not know even their part of life. Travel is to experience, look and acquire knowledge. It also will widen your mind and spirit.

These days, young people often take trips. Train travel around Korea, Jeju Island trips and even overseas trips are all very popular. Free-travel has been popular with their family, friends and couples. The Internet and SNS are also filled with travel photos and videos which have made popular attractions even more famous. So there are more and more people at famous spots.

Most of all, ‘Jeju island’ has been loved from the past until now. In fact, there were really expensive airfare cost in the past, but now there are many chance to buy cheaper ticket. Accommodation is also inexpensive and available with a variety of ammenities.

Jeju Island is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Korea. More than 70% of visitors are seeking out what has become known as the Hawaii of Korea. The island is well known for natural wonders including waterfalls, beaches and dormant volcanoes.

However, information has become easier to obtain by the Internet and via SNS. Famous attractions are too crowded with tourists, so it is difficult to travel vacations become more stress than relaxation. So, rather than touring the usual attractions, we would like to introduce eco-friendly and quiet natural attractions.

First, I want to introduce ‘Biyang Island’. It is another island near Jeju. It is located near Udo island and it is a relatively quiet place during peak-season. Usually people go to Udo island to visit famous restaurants and scenic views. But, if you want to feel the quiet nature and heal your mind, I recommend Biyang Island. There is a flat place that is a very popular camping site. It was a beacon fire station in the past. So when you climb here, you can see beautiful views, especially at sunset.

Next, I want to introduce ‘Soesokkak Estuary’. This place is more famous than Biyang Island, but it is also good to enjoy a peaceful walk. The rocks and pine forests consist of deep, clean water and lava in harmony to produce the beautiful scenery. In addition, ‘Tae-woo’ is a raft for which Soesokkak is famous. It can visit every corner of the beautiful Soesokkak Estuary.

There is a good tourist experience, but the way over the beach, lighthouse, and green forest are also very impressive. Soesokkak is a natural beauty not to be missed.

Jeju Island, is a wonderful place that everyone wants to visit. Gorgeous and famous places are good to visit, but to enjoy a relatively quiet, clean and natural environment is also a fantastic travel experience.
