±èÀ¯¹Î | ½ÂÀÎ2016.10.09 01:18

Have you ever heard Pokemon Go? Pokemon GO is a game that Naintic labs and Nintendo made on the basis of pokemon monsters. It is a mobile that uses augmented reality. Augmented reality(AR) is a technique that combines reality with virtual objects.

In the game, about 150 first generation pokemon monsters apear. Players try or catch pokemon monsters as they walk around in the real world. They can also compete against the virtual gym master.

People in Korea can't play the game because it uses Google GPS, Korea opposes carrying out Google GPS due to secret national intelligence. Google map's security server is also located abroad and does not pay a security fee.

However, you can play Pokemon Go in Sokcho, Ulsan, Ulleungdo and Dokdo, Korea. Why can you play in those locations? Because Naintic discretionally divides Google maps for lozenge cell towers. But Sokcho doesn't include the Korean map. There is no launch area to play the game. For this reason, if you play the game in Sokcho, you can see non roads. Other nations that can play the game have roads. Japan permits using Google GPS, Naintic labs parcels out the map's cell. Therefore, Ulsan, Ulleungdo and Dokdo can play the game.

The merit of Pokemon Go is people who only play games indoor get outside for a change. One pet shelter provided dogs for people to walk so they could conceal the fact that they were playing Pokemon Go. As a result, many people borrowed the dogs, and some adopted dogs from that pet shelter.

However, the shortcoming of Pokemon Go is the potential for criminal activity. Thieves have begun to frequent Pokestop that give monster balls and other game related items. Many people want to play the game, so they buy tickets to go to Sokcho. Therefore, people who really need to go Sokcho are having trouble getting tickets. People also play the game while driving, so some accidents have occurred. Lastly, the game doesn't always work so smoothly in Sokcho due to GPS problems.
