Hello, how is it going L.L.F. readers? I'm Editor-in-chief, Yu-Jin Kim.

 Nowadays, as the US presidential election has ended, the whole world is talking about what lies ahead. Many people and countries are concerned about how the unexpected election of Trump and his unpredictable policies will affect diplomacy, politics and so on of each country.

 In Korea, there are some problems because of the president as well. Hostility against the president is significantly increasing. Some people are even criticizing Korean democracy for allowing the president to govern as a theocracy.

 A lot of people have been attending candlelight vigils demanding the resignation of the president for weeks. In this situation, I'm seriously thinking about what we can do as university students. The most important thing is having an interest in politics and building our own ideas.

 At Daegu University, several students formed a group to voluntarily hold rallies regularly. On the other hand, the 32nd student council just issued a declaration and did nothing to represent students' voices. I think the student council should speak for Daegu University students as soon as possible.

 Also, I want you to take an interest in society and politics by reading L.L.F. Thank you for your consideration.
