From July 12th to 14th, 2017 I went to scholarship exploration of Daegu University press. While there I visited Jeollabuk-do Gunsan, Gimje, and Jeonju. By this chance, I came to know the charm of Gusan. So, I would like to share with you the places which made me feel the charm of Gusan. Do you wonder where these places are? Then let's start.

  In Gusan, I would like to recommend four tourist attractions. The first place is the modern history museum. It shows past and present pictures of Gusan as an international trade port city. So, you can know the history of Gusan. Second is Gyeongam-dong railroad village. There you can see tracks and sleeper cars from the Japanese occupation period. I felt it was a good place to go with friends. The village is very cute, so it is great to stroll or take charming photos with friends. Third is Dongguksa Temple. It was built during the Japanese occupation period. Now, it is the only remaining Japanese temple. It was fun comparing the differences it has with Korean temples. Last is Chowon photo studio. It was a film shooting place of 'Christmas in August' which was released in January, 1998. If you watch the movie before you visit there, you can feel delight of seeing the shooting place in reality.

  Are you curious about these places I recommended? Then visit Gusan on the weekend. While I visited Gusan, I could find various images of Gusan and it was charming. Maybe if you visit those places, you can also feel the charm of Gusan I felt.
