What made her so?Society

In March, it happens that a child was killed by one girl in Inchoen. Many people are surprised and shocked because of this affair. Did you know about that?

Suspect Ms. Kim, a girl who dropped out of high school, tempted a victim by lending her cellphone. Afterwards, Kim killed the victim and abandoned the body in a water tank. The prosecution prosecuted Kim, but she was uncooperative during the investigation. Kim also showed schizophrenia and Aspergers syndrome. Schizophrenia is a mental illness that occurs in social functions along with delusion and auditory hallucination. Aspergers syndrome is a neuropsychiatric disorder that delays the development of language and social adjustment. However, a professional judge decided Kim doesn't have a mental problem. Although having received the result, Kim requests a reinvestigation.

During the investigation, the prosecution found an accomplice(Ms. Park), so they arrested her. Ms. Kim and Ms. Park were in a 'character community'. Character is a kind of role play. To be precise, in accordance with a given situation, a user plays with another user and an imaginary character to drown the picture by him or herself. Furthermore, according to SNS they can then meet personally and hang out with many more people.

In the serious community Kim and Park were a part of, Kim's character is a mafiso who kills someone emotionlessly. Park's character is the mafia boss. Because of these roles, the true Kim couldn't distinguish between reality and community, and Park thought the text that Kim sent after the murder 'finger of corpse is pretty' was a part of a role play.

In addition to Ms. Kim being a part of a dangerous community, she also frequently watched a drama about eating humans. Due to this, some people suggest the reason of her brutality is not mental illness, but due to that community or a cruel media. The others suggest illness.

This incident is still ongoing. Many people want to break the case. An unsolved problem is why she did it. Is the real reason an illness or due to media? How does Daegu University this about it? Maybe everyone thinks a difficult reason, but the wish of resolving the case is all the same.
