This summer was hotter than last summer. Therefore, many people drank a lot of cool water, and turned on the fan or air conditioner. People feel tired quickly and collapse in the summer heat. The heat is especially difficult for people with 3D (dirty, dangerous, demanding) jobs like delivery drivers. Many of them collapse from the heat and some even die.

 The number of deaths from overwork increases every year. However, this year has seen a rapid increase. The government announced the reasons for the increase. The reasons are a lack of people, overwork, stress, excessive work, and working despite natural disasters. As mentioned earlier, death from overwork is increasing, but authentication of industrial accidents is extremely rare. To resolve this problem, the government announced the 'guideline of delivery operation at natural disaster' in 2012.

 This guideline's object is are aimed at protecting delivery and postal workers from natural disasters. Under the guidelines, the director is required to assess the safety conditions before assigning duties to employees.

 I want to know if the guideline was implemented well. Therefore, I interviewed one delivery worked. He said that the guideline is very good and is a great help to postal worker, but it isn't always implemented. I was sorry to hear that.

 Many people think that system is very good and useful, but it's not takinf effect well. I think that is pitiful. I hope the guideline passes off well and if there is a small defect, I hope it changes quickly. Many people die unfortunately from overwork every year. I sincerely hope that a solution to the problem can be found. I urge the government, common citizens, and Daegu University students to be concerned about this problem and its solution.
