A web drama called ‘Monchouchou Global House’ was filmed at the Gyeongsan Campus of Daegu University. The filming took place during the hot summer from August 12th to 14th in the parks near Seongsan Hall, the multicultural café ‘Cafe-Eum’, Changpa Library and the Global Lounge.
The drama is a romantic comedy in which attractive global youths living in the Luxury Global Share House share a global discourse on love and friendship through 12 episodes. The series draws attention to foreign actors from various nationalities and famous celebrities.
On June 18th at Seongsan Hall of the Gyeongsan campus, our university signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the production of Web dramas and cooperation between industry and academia with Convergence TV, a company that specializes in Web contents. Our university will provide filming locations for Web dramas that will be filmed in late June. The university will also provide support related facilities and equipment such as accommodations. In addition, on-site training sessions will be conducted to include students of the Media Communications Department in a department related to broadcasting content production and supporting performances.
"We will consider working with passionate students with the backdrop of the beautiful campus as a valuable connection and create a cooperative relationship that can coexist with Daegu University," said Choi Jeong-yeol, CEO of Convergence TV.
The much-anticipated ‘Monchouchou Global House’ will be released at home and abroad in early October through the KT Olleh TV Mobile App. It will later be aired on various platforms including SBS Moby Dick Channel and TV.
