Ahn Gyeong Sin, participated in the March 1st Independence Movement in Seosomun-dong, Pyongyang when she was heading home. She was arrested and detained for 29 days due to participating in the movement.

She worked at the Korean Women's Patriotic Association that had headquarter in Pyongyang as well as working as a Ministry of Transportation member who delivered the sinews of war. After she moved to Shanghai, she worked in a general camp of the Korean Independence Army. She succeeded in carrying a bomb to Pyongyang but failed to set it off in front of Pyongyang police station, and couldn't avoid the police because she was pregnant at the time. She got arrested 12 days after giving birth and was sentenced to death. A suggestion letter from the Provisional Government of Korea was taken into consideration and instead she was resentenced to 10 years in prison.
