Daegu University and the University of Antique in the Philippines have embarked on various educational collaborations across borders. They have built a cooperative relationship through years of overseas volunteer work.
Earlier this year, they initiated an overseas school practicum for teacher training, and students from both universities are expanding the scope of their educational cooperation by working together on an educational video production project, including educational videos and short films which have garnered attention.
This project, which began early last month, held an online screening on the 18th to showcase the collaborative achievements of students from both universities.
Students from both universities collaborated on the project, discussing and progressing through every stage from scriptwriting to video shooting and editing over the course of a month.
They completed a total of 6 videos (3 educational videos and 3 short films) and held a screening to showcase their work. These works were recently made public through the Daegu University College of Education YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@DU_COE).
Both universities plan to use the success of this project as a stepping stone to explore expanded international exchanges. New horizons have been opened through this educational video production project.
