Kim Yu-na returns to Worlds Kim Yu-na is 23-year-old Korean. She has won several cups for skating. Kim is Korea’s most famous figure skater who is breaking new ground in figure skating. She has changed history of figure skating. She has been called the Queen of figure skating. The World admires her outstanding ability. She lives in the hearts of people all around the world. The world Figure Skating Championships in London, Canada was hosted on March 14. She participated in major event after 2 years. She has been hard to prepare for World championship. She arranged single short and free program. She danced to a tune with the music of Les Miserables and Vampire Kiss. That figure skater displayed her mastery of very difficult techniques. She resembled a butterfly in her actions as well. Her performance on ice overwhelmed the people. Her skating was a towering performance, good enough to be written into history. It was simply brilliant. She captured the audience with her fine acting. All the audience gave a standing ovation. She showed off her beautiful skating skills to the world. Her impressive performance surprised many figure skating fans around the world. As a result, She got the highest score in the figure skating short and free program. She won the short program with 69,97 points Friday, and the free skate with 148,34 points Saturday. She led to a larger gap in scores. Kim won The World Figure Skating Championships in London. She was awarded a gold medal proudly. People all the world watched gorgeous scene and celebrated it. Her performance received excellent reviews from foreign press too. Unprecedent situation happened. That is because Canadian chorus sang passionately Korean national anthem in Korean. That’s a rare sight. It created an impression. And through her victory, Korea can participate three figure skaters in the Winter Olympic in Sochi. She has made great achievement in Korea. Thanks to her, Korea accomplished a monumental landmark in the field of figure skating. In addition, Kim has contributed her homeland, Korea. She made for hosting the 2018 Olympics. The figuring skating queen was busy off the ice working as the honorary ambassador for the Sochi Winter Olympics. Figure skating world champion Kim’s impressive presentation highlighted the fact that Pyeongchang is ready to host a Winter Olympics, and played an important role in Pyeongchang’s victory. For her efforts Korea can hold Olympic in 2018. Korea will be able to boost our national brand power through the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. Also she raised our nation’s status to a higher level. She let all the people know Korea. It has a great ripple effect. People all around the world are interested in Korea more than ever before. And success in sport is a source of national pride.
