Freshperson's Expectation and Disappointment
·ù´Ù¿ø, ±èÀ¯¹Î | ½ÂÀÎ2019.03.27 22:03

Welcome freshmen! The freshmen have started campus life these days. They are looking forward to spending time tin college. What is the one thing they are most expecting from campus life, and what is the most worrying thing? L.L.F created a survey targeting to the freshmen about these questions.

The L.L.F magazine made a questionnaire asking, "What do freshmen students mostly look forward to during university life?" 201 voters participated in this survey. Many students who were voting looked excited and seemed to have a lot of conversation with their friends, sharing their thoughts actively when attaching the stickers on the survey board. There were four options given and there were, 'Helpful lecture', 'Great time table', 'Enjoying cherry blossoms with girlfriend or boyfriend' and 'Having a meal with cool senior student' followed with 70 voters. 'Enjoying cherry blossom with girlfriend or boyfriend' got 38, and 'helpful lectures ' got 20 votes from students. One student who voted on having a great time table said they chose "having a great time table because it allows for a freshman's exciting, fruitful school life."

198 students answered this next survey. The survey was concerned about the anxious thing is college. There are four examples. First was 'long term between classes.' Next was 'eating along.' The third was 'an inappropriate major with one's aptitude.' Last was 'low credit.'

More than half (54%) of the votes were for low credit. 39 students (20%) worried about long term between classes. 31 voters chose eating alone. The inappropriate major with one's aptitude received the least amount. 10% of freshmen voted for it.

Although the voters were freshmen, they were already thinking about their grade. Before starting college many people said, "you should get a good credit score from freshmen to senior" to the freshmen. Additionally, the concern about grades is related to getting a job. For these reasons, the students think a low credit score is cause for worry.

As a result of the survey, we recognize what freshmen worry about and expect in their campus life. They look forward to having lunch with a senior. And they try to figure out how to avoid low credit scores.
