Physical Exercise Programs at DU

There are some physical training courses that you can do at Daegu University. First, at the Lifelong Education Center on campus, there are various sports students can enjoy. Swimming, freestyle swimming, sports dance, fitness, yoga, and golf are all available. One of the popular exercises is swimming You can take swimming lessons by your level as well as freestyle swimming. In the fitness center, on the third floor, you can also learn yoga and use various fitness equipments. Yoga is for twice or 3 times in a week. Also, you can do  aerobic exercises, upper and lower body exercises by using the equipments. Tradmills are available watching TV or looking at the view of the golf course.  The air conditioner and heating system are installed in the center.

 

The short-term courses of swim, yoga and fitness are for one month and the regular courses are for three months. Swim and fitness programs are not available on Sundays, Golf and yoga programs are not available on weekends. The application period is between the 15th and the 20th of every month. If you want to register for the popular exercises you want, you'd better apply as quickly as possible. The associated fees are discounted for school personnel and students. More detailed figures about the price are available on the Lifelong Education website, http://ducc.daegu.ac.kr.

 

Second, the RC program sponsored by the Daegu University Dormitory provides many interesting exercise programs. K-pop dance, yoga, health training, table tennis, kendo, football, and basketball are all available for a certain period, 5 weeks. However, it is only provided to students who are living in a dormitory during the semester. Students living in a dormitory can register for the program for free during the semester. You can apply for the program at the school website. If you attend one of the programs faithfully, you can get an additional point when you apply to the dormitory next semester. Also, prizes will be presented to the excellent students.

 

Exercising regularly can help you maintain your health so that you can study even better. So, if there are any students who want to participate in an exercise program, exercising at one of the school facilities at a cheaper price will be a good choice.
