Hello students! Autumn has passed, and a cold wind-swept winter is coming. L.L.F carried out a questionnaire about the winter with Daegu University students. The questions were “What comes to mind in winter?” and “What snacks do you think of in the winter?”. A total of 530 voters participated in this questionnaire.
The L.L.F formulated a questionnaire including the question “What comes to mind in winter?” Many students participated in our questionnaire, and we could see students talking about the upcoming winter. A total of four choices were given for this question and they were ‘Finish a course’, ‘The first snow’, ‘Christmas’, and ‘Down jacket’. There were 282 votes on this question. ‘Christmas’ got the most stickers with a total of 115.
Many of the students who voted for the "Christmas" option said it was good to enjoy the atmosphere together and to have various Christmas events. The total ‘Finish a course’ answers was 73. L.L.F reporters expected the 'Finish a course' option to receive the most votes, but ‘Christmas’ took more votes. ‘The first snow’ got 66 votes, and finally ‘Down jacket’ got 28 votes. One of the students who voted for ‘Down jacket’ said that when winter comes, down jackets come to mind because you can see most students wearing long down jackets among other jacket styles.

248 students answered this next survey. The survey’s theme was about “Winter snack”. There were four options, the first being ‘Boong-a-pang’ which is a fish-shaped bun. Next was ‘Pulppang’ which is chrysanthemum-shaped bun. The third was ‘Hotteok’ which is a Chinese pancake and the last was ‘Hobbang’ which is a Chinese steamed bun.
More than half (62.5%) voted for Boong-a-pang. Next, there were many students who voted for Hotteok. Those who voted for Hotteok accounted for 41 students, about 16%. 29 students chose Pulppang and the remaining 23 students voted for Hoppang. We actually thought the votes were going to be evenly distributed, but Boong-a-pang unexpectedly got a large number of votes. On the other hand, the other three categories showed a relatively low turnout.
According to the results of the survey, we could see what the students were thinking about winter. They showed great expectations for the end of the semester with Christmas and the preferred snack Boong-a-pang. L.L.F hope the students will enjoy Christmas after the end of the school year and spend the cold winter staying warm with delicious snacks.
