We greeted the ‘Untact’ period due to COVID-19. So, not only colleges but also elementary·middle·high school and private educational institutes are doing all classes online. Professors experienced a stormy passage of results from trying online lectures for the first time. Students experienced a taste of death owing to endless tasks. Furthermore, problems like ‘repayment of tuition’ and ‘interruption of the Work-Study Scholarship’ were sufficient to cause students anxiety.

In a developing story, the 2020-first semester Work-Study Scholarship which was stopped, was set to recommence along with selective face-to-face lectures from May. Existing scholarship students were notified first and they can work from 11th of May to 31st of August after submitting a written oath of the Work-Study Scholarship and a health questionnaire.

A student who works in our school said, “I’m glad to resume the work, but it isn’t a safe situation yet so a few students are working now and the mood is cautious. Not much has changed yet, but we check our temperature and sign our name in the visitors’ book every day.”

Unlike the Work-Study Scholarship which has resumed, the answer to the question of ‘repayment of tuition’ is not clear. In the beginning, students who held positive position about online lectures are changing their position to negative. One student said, ‘Online lectures are not worth the money’, ‘pay the expensive tuition and get a lot of tasks’.

‘Untact’ which has become a new standard for daily life due to COVID-19, is making many people safe. But, ‘Untact’ is undergoing many trials and errors and requires us to stay ‘face-to-face’.
