These days many people who study English watch American dramas or American movies. If you want to study English, I recommend the American sitcom entitled “The Good Place”. It is easy to watch because each episode only lasts for twenty-two minutes. The theme of this drama is about ethics and human friendship.

The drama features five important characters. Their names are Michael, Elena, Cheedy, Jason, and Tahani. Michael is the general manager of “The Good Place” a place where good people go when they die. There are four main characters in the sitcom, however none of these four people lived a good life so the place they know as a good place is actually a bad place.

After they find out what this place is Michael falls into despair, so he reboots The Good Place hundreds of times without knowing who's in charge. The results have always ended up being the same, and in the end Michael joins hands with four people. They cheat the devil in a bad place. Michael's good position has been a success, and all demons celebrate it. However, this peace doesn't last long. When Michael is with them, he realizes that the current system is wrong.

Michael works with them to make a better world. They also prove through numerous experiments that even bad humans can turn into good people. This gets proven, and no more unjust people go to bad places.

This drama deals with ethical issues. There are different dilemmas in life that people face and it’s all up to the person whether to do the good thing or the bad thing. Watching this sitcom will help improve your ability to solve ethical problems. It's interesting to watch, go see it for yourself.
