The Latest Craze of Cryptocurrency called Bitcoin
¼Û¼öºó | ½ÂÀÎ2021.03.27 13:44

Have you heard about the cryptocurrency called Bitcoin? Bitcoin has recently received attention as it has been steadily on the rise since the recent occurrence of COVID-19. People from every age group have been investing in it. Among these groups, it is not difficult to find cases where college students and even soldiers have jumped into cryptocurrency. It can be a concern and an attraction for college students with the chance to earn a lot of money without hard labor.

Bitcoin is a representative of a type of cryptocurrency. The founder of Bitcoin was Satoshi Nakamoto who developed the world's first cryptocurrency in 2009. It is unclear whether the founder is an individual or an organization because the identity of the founder is not known. Currently, there are many cryptocurrencies in addition to "Ethereum" and "Ripple". There are cases that investments in these cryptocurrencies have made a large amount of money in a short period of time.

In the cryptocurrency market, even college students and job seekers who have no income are jumping in. Some people use student loans to invest as "ant investors", which means individual investors. It is considered more fortunate for college students in their 20s who have difficulties in finding a part-time job and not getting a job.

Due to this trend, Bitcoin studies, cryptocurrency courses, as well as academic societies and clubs that study cryptocurrency are emerging online and offline. In Yonsei University, clubs are being created with the aim of realizing true investments by studying the value of money in relation to cryptocurrency. In addition, other universities are also being shown to organize meetings to study cryptocurrency technology and explore market information.

Investing in accordance with current market trends can be a good foundation for economic knowledge and ideas. However, as much as it is easy to gain money after a short investment, it can be just as easily lost. The damage to college students who have no income or have invested excessively using loans is inevitable. As it is highly volatile and dangerous, college students need to pay attention and not ignore their investment too much. A balanced approach is needed rather than excessive investment in cryptocurrency.
