Have you ever heard about the man named Gatsby? People say he is the third cousin to the Kaiser and second cousin to the Devil! This is Nick Describes Gatsby in front of Gatsby himself not knowing at all who he is speaking to. After this scene, a scene that no one would forget appears. 'I'm afraid I've been not a good host, old sport. I'm Gatsby.' Lights start flashing, music becomes louder and finally Gatsby shows his face with a toss to us beyond the screen.

The Great Gatsby is a film based on the novel 'The Great Gatsby', written in 1925 by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The film starts on Long Island near New Your City, in the summer of 1922. The period is named the 'Jazz Era' by Fitzgerald himself. The film shows events with the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby and Daisy BUchanan from Nick's first- point of view.

By the end of the movie, Nick sets the cover of his manuscript down and writes 'Gatsby'. But he handwrites two more words to give the full title-'The Great Gatsby'. This scene made me reflect on the whole movie and think why Gatsby deserves those words, 'The Great'.
