With the outbreak of COVID-19, we could only use limited facilities at the university. Among them, there was the free reading room at the Changpa Library. However, with the 'living with Covid-19 plan’ becoming a reality, Daegu University’s Changpa Library opened the free reading room.

The free reading room is a place where the seats can be assigned and used through the Daegu University Smart Campus app, and there are various free reading rooms and laptop rental corners.

Changpa Library's free reading room is open on weekends from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. It has the advantage of being able to study at the library on weekends.

In addition to the free reading room, Changpa Library’s other reading rooms are located on the third, fourth, and fifth floors of the building behind the College of Humanities and Culture No. 1, were also opened.

Using the rooms cost 3,000 won per day, but they have the advantage of being available for 24 hours from 9 a.m. to 9 a.m. the next day. There is a special application method which requires students to visit and apply directly from the office on the first floor of Changpa Library.

When applying, they must bring a COVID-19 secondary vaccination certificate. Detailed instructions can be found on the Changpa Library website.
