Guidelines for In-Person Class : COVID and 2022 Spring Semester at DU

In principle, Daegu University opened full face-to-face classes in 2022. Are many of your schoolmates familiar with the Corona policy that changes frequently? If you have any questions about this, you can solve them by reading this article now.

I would like to talk about the compliance requirements for Corona-19 through face-to-face classes during the first semester of Daegu University. First of all, universities are making every effort to ensure that university members can conduct classes safely and smoothly ahead of face-to-face classes in the first semester of 2022. All members should check compliance and work together to prevent infection.

To begin, here are the guidelines for action when suspicious symptoms occur. First, if you experience suspected corona-19 transpiration (fever (37.5 degrees or higher), a cough, sore throat, headache, chills, etc.), please do not go to school or go to work.

Second, you should visit a screening clinic or designated medical institution to conduct medical treatment and quick navigation tests, and take a good rest at home for at least one to two days before following up at a clinic.

During nighttime or holidays, call the local health center or the call center of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (1339) and follow the instructions. It's about the most important criteria for going to school.

Next is regarding a definitive diagnostic person and the people who are in contact with the quarantine target. If you are a definitive diagnostic you have to isolate yourself for seven days, regardless of whether you have a corona vaccine or not. Your school attendance will be canceled during that period.

Secondly, while the person is isolated, a total of 2 PCR tests must be taken during contact classification and before the isolation is lifted. In that case of a positive result, school attendance will be canceled again.

We can divide the next part into two cases, where my housemate is either a definitive diagnostic person or person who is subject to isolation. The first is when my housemate is a confirmed person. Isolate for 10 days by manual monitoring, whether or not they have had a corona vaccine. "Isolation" means no contact with anyone at all. We recommend a housemate test, a PCR test within three days, and a quick antigen test on the sixth to seventh days. It is possible to go to school.

Secondly, the case where my housemate was in contact with a person subject to isolation. There is no isolation period regardless of whether they have a corona vaccination or not. You don't need an examination and you can go to school.

In the case of contact facilities subject to isolation, the health center will notify you of isolation separately if the patient is a 32 ã¿àâ member of a vulnerable facility (medical hospital, organ sanatorium, mental health facility, disabled facility). Please be careful for each person who has a definite diagnosis for three more days after the initial seven days of isolation.

Manual observers are advised to stay at home for three days and wear a kf94 mask at all times during the rest of the day. They should avoid private gatherings and visit a health facility if they have a high risk of infection.

I hope this article will help you a lot during your face-to-face class in the first semester of 2022.
