A school library is a place where students borrow books and visit when they want to study somewhere quiet. But did you know you could do so much more than that in Daegu University's library?

First, you can gain access to hundreds of academic journals by going to the library's web page. From there, you can search for research on pages like DBpia, RISS, and the National Library of Korea. These sites can be helpful when you are looking up information for your assignments.

You can also rent out rooms for you and your friends. If you have trouble finding a place to study during the exams season, you can make a reservation at the study room, and if you want to watch some DVDs or WAVVE, you can make a reservation there.

Every year, the library hosts a huge book report contest. You get to read something new while writing a report about that book and also get to know how others felt about their own books.

Participating in these kinds of library events will earn you Changpa Library points. At the end of every semester, they will add up the scores of the students and give a scholarship to those who earn the most points.

Since our school's library is filled with these kinds of useful things, I hope students take this opportunity to make good use of it.
