Activists from the British environmental protest group Just Stop Oil recently protested by pouring tomato soup on a well-known Van Gogh painting, "Sunflowers." Since then, there's been a series of protests of throwing food on famous paintings all across Europe.

After throwing soup on the painting, the protestors glued their hands to the walls of the museum and urged attention to the seriousness of climate change.

Even though the protesters were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, there wasn't any since the painting was kept in glass frames.

The environmental groups leading these protests say they've tried numerous ways to make a difference, but the results were disappointing, so they are trying much more powerful ways.

Criticism like "Throwing food is already environmental pollution," or "Damaging artworks is unrelated to protecting the environment" continued, but their goal of grabbing people's attention has been achieved in a way.

Although the way of their protests are concerning, the dangers of climate change are constantly talked about. We need to take actions now because environmental issues are rising all over the world.
