Risk of Continuous Coffee Consumption

Coffee is inseparable from modern people. The daily intake of coffee for adults in Korea is about 2 cups. Each person's body takes in different forms of coffee.

 

Some people say that drinking coffee can cause headaches and heart palpitations. Some people drink coffee every day because they don't have any of these problems.

 

If the amount of coffee a person consumes is increased, it is said that their body will become resistant to the natural effects of caffeine. When drinking coffee, the caffeine in the coffee is attached to the adenosine receptor instead of adenosine, and the longer you drink coffee the more adenosine receptors you have.

 

In other words, drinking the same amount of coffee over and over again leads to sleepiness, and naturally increases the amount of coffee to increase this awakening effect.

 

Also, if side effects suddenly occur, it is wis to suspect addiction. The recommended maximum adult daily caffeine intake is 400 mg. Ingesting beyond this amount can lead to caffeine addiction and cause symptoms such as an increase in heart rate, pulse, and blood pressure.

 

On the other hand, if you suddenly stop drinking caffeine at this time you might suffer withdrawal symptoms, so be careful. Therefore, it is recommended to gradually reduce your coffee intake over a week or two. Decaffeinated drinks also serve as a great substitute.
