Students¡¯ Inconvenience of Reduced Kickboards
±èÀ¯Áø | ½ÂÀÎ2022.12.13 23:04

Daegu University has a large campus, so it takes plenty of time to move around. In this situation, electric kickboards help students move quickly and easily around the campus. Therefore, many students like to use electric kickboards.

Primarily, three electric kickboards were placed in the school: Xing-xing, Tago-Ga, and G-Cooter. However, the service of the Xing-xing and G-Cooter ceased, and Tago-Ga electric kickboards have decreased in number. Therefore, many people complain of inconvenience. Thus, I interviewed two students about their difficulties as the number of kickboards has decreased.

Q1. Do you use the kickboard often?

A1. Yes. I use it five days a week. I usually use it more than three times times a day.

A2. I often use it. I live in a dormitory at the back gate, but I have classes at the Engineering, so riding a kickboard is inevitable for me.

Q2.  Did you know that the number of kickboards on campus has decreased?

A1. Yes. I noticed that when I saw the announced that it planned to close its service at Daegu University on the kickboard app.

A2. I didn't know that. I sensed that I couldn't see many kickboards on campus, but I didn't think the number of kickboards decreased.

Q3. What is the most inconvenient aspect of the decrease in kickboards?

A1. Because of my hectic schedule. I have to go to class in a hurry, but I can't find the kickboards well. Because of that, I am sometimes late for classes.

A2. I didn't know the number of kickboards decreased, so I've never felt particularly uncomfortable.

Q4. Is there anything you want the university to improve about on campus kickboards?

A1. I don't know why many mobility companies stopped their service at Daegu University. I want the companies to increase the number of kickboards again.

A2. I think it will be easier for us to move around if companies increase the number of kickboards again. In my opinion, leaving the used kickboards everywhere worsens our inconvenience caused by a lack of kickboards. Therefore, I think the university should impose a fine on those who infringe on the kickboard parking space.
