With the recent advent of wireless earphones, earphone users have been divided into two categories: those who prefer wireless earphones and those who prefer wired earphones. I interviewed two students of Daegu University to hear their opinions.

First, I interviewed a student who prefers wireless earphones.

Q1. Why do you prefer wireless earphones?

A1. The reason why I prefer wireless earphones is that there are no cables to get tangled or caught on something. I usually use earphones when I move or exercise, and I often use wireless earphones that do not interfere witn my activities because I often move around a lot.

Q2. How did you react when wireless earphones were first released?

A2. When wireless earphones first came out, I thought they were really cool. I was curious about the developer who removed the earphone cable that I had previously taken for granted and made earphones that were not inconvenient to operate, and I admired it.

Q3. Wireless earphones can only be used if you charge the battery, isn't it inconvenient?

A3. The battery charging method is uncomfortable, but I don't really care because it's convenient enough to handle it.

Next, I interviewed a student who prefers wired earphones.

Q1. Why do you prefer wired earphones?

A1. Wireless earphones need to be charged for a certain period of time, but wired earphones can be used continuously without charging. I think I fell in love with wired earphones because I could use them to listen to music without interruption even when one earphone is off.

Q2. How do you solve the problem when you earphone's cable is twisted?

A2. When the earphone cord is twisted, it is common to untangle it by hand. To prevent the cord from getting twisted, I tie it with a thin cable.

Q3. These days, when I buy a cell phone I feel like I'm forced into the purchase of wireless earphones, as earphones are not automatically a part of the components. What do you think about this?

A3. First of all, I think there are pros and cons of both wired and wireless earphones. Each earphone has a different design or performance, so I think you can use it based on what you think is necessary depending on the situation.

There will still be a debate about what is more convenient, but both wireless and wired earphones have their own charm so you can use them in whatever way is comfortable for you.
