In October 2023, a war began with Hamas launching a massive invasion against Israel. This is the largest conflict ever since the 4th middle East War in 1973.

One of the causes of this war began in the 2010s. Israel slaughtered Palestinians suffered from Israel's repression and the conflict intensified. The main cuase of this war is to check the normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Iran, an Arab state that hates Israel, used Palestine to keep Israel in check, by providing economic and military support to the Palestinians. Iran says it supports Palestinians, but in fact they supprot Hamas, and Iran is isolated from international sanctions.

The country that helped the most was Saudi Arabia. if Saudi Arabia nomalizes diplomatic relations with Israel, the Palestinians will be isolated, so the Palestinians wanted to prevent this from happening. Saudi Arabia had a good realionship with Israel to check Iran's nuclear development.

Now Hamas, which has always jostled, has succeeded in the surprise attack it had been preparing for long time, occupying territory arround Israel and causing mass destruction to parts of Israel.
